Under the Hood
There are eight different engine options available for the 2020 Audi A4. All eight engines are turbocharged. There are three four-cylinder TDI engines, three four-cylinder TFSI engines and a pair of six-cylinder platforms to choose from.
The most powerful engine produces 347 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque.
Five of the engine variants work in conjunction with mild hybrid systems, allowing for even more efficiency and comfort.
Comfort & Convenience
Audi’s fully digital MMI operating system provides a user experience similar to a smartphone. The TFT display with acoustic feedback is mounted in the center of the instrument panel and tilted slightly towards the driver. This display is used for controlling the infotainment and some comfort functions.
The 10.1-inch screen supports swiping, scrolling and multifinger gestures. Opportunities for personalization abound, as up to 14 myAudi user profiles and a guest profile can be stored in the system.
Safety
A number of driver-assistance technologies come standard with the 2020 Audi A4. Audi pre sense comes standard. This basic package can be supplemented with “Tour”, “City” and “Park” optional upgrades.
The standard safety package can warn the driver of an imminent collision, begin emergency braking and even help stop the A4 at speeds under 25 mph. The technology also detects stationary vehicles and pedestrians at speeds of up to 52 mph.
