Under The Hood
The 2022 Powered is powered by a 2.0-liter engine that generates up to 201 hp and 221 Ib-ft of torque mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
A 48-volt mild-hybrid system—a first for the subcompact sedan--facilitates a 24% improvement in fuel economy compared to the previous model. The system provides extra low-end torque for a better off-the-line response. It also allows the 2022 A3 to operate with a switched-off engine in certain situations such as coasting to a stop.
Comfort & Convenience
The 2022 A3 features a redefined interior of the latest flagship technologies, including a 12.3” configurable Audi virtual cockpit and an MMI Touch interface screen.
The screen is angled towards the driver for easy access with tactile feedback and hand-writing recognition. It also has wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and WIFI hotspot capability.
An available mobile app provides remote monitoring and control of vehicle functions, such as door locking and engine ignition.
Additional technology features include a head-up display, 360-degree parking camera system, wireless charging pad and premium sound system.
Safety
All models are equipped with 10 airbags. Standard driver-assist and active safety features include Front Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning and Automatic High Beams. Other standard systems include Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Blind-Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
