A Black Optic package offers bigger 19-inch wheels with all-season tires, black roof rails, black gloss trim pieces and sporty front seats.
The Q3 is available in four trim levels: Premium, S line Premium, Premium Plus and S line Premium Plus.
Under the Hood
Standard model offers a 184 hp turbocharged engine with 221 torque output. The S line has an upgraded engine that produces 228 hp and 258 Ib-ft of torque.
Base engine delivers an EPA-estimated rating of 23 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway, while higher models get 21/28 mpg city/highway.
Audi Drive Select technology allows drivers to customize their driving preferences by adapting the vehicle's performance to different road conditions.
Comfort and Convenience
The 2023 Q3 provides comfortable seating for five passengers. It has 23.7 cubic feet of space behind the back seats which increases to 48 cubic feet with rear seats folded down.
Cabin features include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8.8-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, gesture controls, handwriting recognition and power-adjustable mirrors.
Alternative add-ons are a 12.3-inch digital cluster, Amazon Alexa Auto, navigation, Wi-Fi hotspot, satellite radio and a 15-speaker audio system.
Safety
Due to the transition of colder to warmer temperatures, spring months come with erratic weather and challenging road conditions.
Pre Sense Basic set up is accessible on all 2023 Q3 models. It is a network of safety systems that detects road hazards and protects the vehicle in on-road situations. The basic package pre-tensions the front seatbelts and closes windows if a potential collision is detected.
Optional safety packages include:
- Pre Sense Plus: Applies brakes and alerts drivers with audible and visual warnings.
- Pre Sense City: Activates emergency braking speeds at less than 52 mph.
- Pre Sense Side: Uses radar sensors to keep an eye out for incoming traffic.
- Pre Sense Rear: Monitors incoming collisions and braces the Q3 for inevitable accidents.
