Audi’s 2022 e-tron Grand delivers comfort and safety in an innovative all-electric package, letting you and your family glide safely past all those fill-up stations during your next road trip.
Under the Hood
The e-tron is powered by a 95-kWh battery with twin electric motors that generate 355-hp and 414 IBM-ft of torque. In boost mode, speed increases to 402-hp and 490 Ib-ft of torque, accelerating to 60 mpg in 5.5. seconds.
Instead of the traditional 1-speed transmission found in electric cars, the e-tron GT has a 2-speed transmission for quick acceleration and highway cruising. The e-tron GT charges with a standard Level 1 cord plugged into a 120-volt outlet or Level 2 cord plugged into a 240-volt outlet.
The e-tron Grand has a range of 238 miles on a full charge.
Comfort and Convenience
The state-of-the-art MMI infotainment console has an innovative dual-screen setup. The upper touch screen encases navigation, audio and smartphone integration systems while the bottom screen handles quad-zone climate controls.
The 2022 e-tron seats five people and comes with a cargo space of 28.5 cubic feet. With the back seats folded down, the space is increased to 56.5 cubic feet.
Safety
E-tron was the first EV to earn the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s Top Safety Pick+ designation. IIHS gave the 2022 e-tron it’s top designation of “Good” and “Superior” ratings in every single testing category.
Safety features include active lane control, automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition and adaptive cruise control.
The e-tron is equipped with an ignition disable device that prevents the engine from starting if it does not detect a certified Audi key.
