Under the Hood

The base trim offers a rear-wheel drive powered by a single motor that generates 201 hp, while the Q4 e-tron 50 Sportback gets a dual motor all-wheel drive system with a 295 hp punch.

Both models use a 77.0 kWh battery pack, with the Q4 e-tron delivering an estimated 265 miles on a single charge and the Sportback attaining a maximum driving range of 236 miles.

The 2023 Q4 e-tron requires nine hours of charging time from zero to 100 percent capacity on a typical Level 2 home charger, When connected to a 150kW DC fast charger, the entry-level trim requires less than 45 minutes to go from five percent to an 80 percent charge.

Comfort and Convenience

Audi includes a 10.3-inch digital gauge display and 11.6-inch  touchscreen angled towards the driver for easy access to alternative menus or features. A multifunction steering wheel comes with soft-touch controls and a unique double-spoke shape that allows drivers to see the digital cluster underneath the wheel.

Audi also offers an augmented reality feature that projects information such as navigation instructions or driver-assistance warnings in a driver's eye line. The heads-up display projects text, images and 3D animations on the windscreen, which allows drivers to use the information and respond quickly in road situations.

Premium standard amenities include three-zone automatic climate control, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, LED interior lighting, roof rails and a panoramic sunroof.

Safety

Both 2023 e-tron models received the IIHS Top Safety Pick + award, with high grades in all six crashworthiness tests. The all-electric SUVs earned "superior" ratings in the front crash prevention vehicle-to-vehicle test and "advanced" scores in vehicle-to-pedestrian assessments.

Models are also stacked with driver-assistive features including:
