A turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine produces 401 hp and 369 Ib-ft of torque. RS 3 delivers optimal handling with its torque splitter diverting available power to rear wheels in the rainiest season of the year.

An optional package featuring larger front steel brakes offers 20 percent cooling than its predecessor as the winter cold season transitions into hot and humid temperatures. Audi Drive Select system delivers four modes for drivers. Each mode adjusts the steering and suspension settings depending on what kind of driving is required.

Comfort mode is ideal for drivers looking for a spring road trip outside the city because it minimizes manual steering effort and softens suspension for a smooth ride. Dynamic mode is suited for uphill driving and mazy roads because it increases lateral acceleration and engine responsiveness.

Front Nappa leather seats are equipped with driver memory and 4-way lumbar power support for lengthy driving comfort.

The compact sports sedan includes front Matrix-design LED headlights with a darkened bezel featuring all-new digital daytime running lights. At the rear, LED headlights are dotted with dynamic turn signals and a RS 3-specific coming home/leaving function sequence.

A center 10.1-inch dashboard display provides coolant, engine, transmission oil temperatures and tire pressure data. It helps drivers prep their vehicles for warmer temperatures in spring after the cold winter months.
