The 2024 Q8 delivers improved driving dynamics, a well-trimmed cabin and an impressive range of safety technologies for an upscale e-tron experience.
Model range comprises SUV and Sportback body styles and comes with revised front styling, new wheel designs and a larger battery pack with faster charging capabilities and more range.
Under the Hood
Audi’s Q8 e-tron comes with a combined 355 hp and 414 Ib-ft of torque. The SUV offers an EPA-estimated 285 mile range and 296 miles for the Sportback.
An optional Ultra upgrade for the 2024 Sportback model achieves an EPA-estimated 300 mile range–a 30 percent increment compared to its predecessor.
Base e-tron offers charging performance up to 150 kWh and attains full charge in nine hours and 15 minutes. A maximum 170 kWh DC charge rate allows the EV recharge from 10 percent to 80 percent in 31 minutes.
Comfort and Convenience
Audi’s infotainment system is accessible on dual touchscreens with a 10.1-inch display on top and an 8.6-inch unit underneath. Upper screen provides access to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and high-end audio system.
Bottom screen controls the four-zone automatic climate settings for the five-seater EV. Cargo area is 29 cubic feet behind the back row and 57 cubic feet with rear seats collapsed. The Sportback’s sloping roofline reduces both figures in 2 cubic feet of storage capacity.
An electronically controlled panoramic glass roof complimented with blackout sunshade keeps the cabin cool and cozy in summer. A built-in deflector minimizes wind noise and provides a quiet sanctuary from the bustling outside world.
Safety
Audi Pre Sense is a combination of sensors, cameras and software algorithms that work in tandem to keep occupants safe in 2024 Q8 e-tron models.
Functionalities include:
-
Pre Sense Basic: Prepares vehicle for impending collision by initiating preventive measures like window closures, brake application and seat belt tensioning.
-
Pre Sense Front: Uses forward-facing sensors to detect vehicles and pedestrians and provides audio/visual warnings.
-
Pre Sense Rear: Prevents rear-end collisions by using sensors to monitor the area behind the 2024 Q8 e-tron. It activates hazard lights to alert motorists behind.
-
Pre Sense Side: Increases precautionary measures during lane changes. Sensors monitor blind spots on either side of the vehicle.
