Audi's 2024 A6 is powered by two fuel-efficient powertrains, a tastefully furnished interior and state-of-the-art safety tech.

For the model year, the luxury sedan gets a new honeycomb grille, redesigned wheels and revised front and rear bumpers. It also debuts in two new color palettes: Arcona White and Madeira Brown Metallic.

An available Black Optic Sport Package accessible on all models includes black exterior accents, 20-inch polygon-shaped wheels and a low-ride suspension.

Optional Premium Convenience Package offers advanced navigation, a 10.1-inch display and surround-view camera system.

Under the Hood

The A6 comes with a 260 hp 2.0-liter turbocharged powertrain with an EPA-estimated rating of 23/33 in city/highway driving. It is also available as a 3.0-liter 355 hp V6 option (22 city/30 highway). All-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic transmission is standard on all models.

Both engines use mild-hybrid technology synced with a 12 or 48-volt starter that uses a stop-start system for fuel economy.

Comfort and Convenience

Seats and armrests are decked in soft leather while lush-looking wood, and nickel-finished metal trim are applied to the dash and doors.

All A6 models now include a six-month trial subscription to Audi Connect PLUS with Audi app store. The package seamlessly integrates music, video, gaming, navigation, parking & charging, productivity, weather, and news apps into the Audi Multimedia Interface.

Audi's virtual cockpit is a customized digital instrument cluster that presents vehicular data in a stunning HD display. A reconfigurable menu for users to fit individual tastes and preferences replaces the center console click-wheel controller.

The multimedia touch response screen offers intuitive technology for haptic feedback, handwriting recognition and cabin climate settings. Other entry-level amenities include a 10-speaker audio system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, onboard Wi-Fi, heated front seats and mirrors.

Higher trims features include a power trunk lid, wireless smartphone charging pad, multicolor ambient interior lighting and four-zone automatic climate control.

Music lovers can upgrade to a 755-watt Bang and Olufsen setup with 16 speakers for immersive 3D sound. A heated steering wheel and rear seats are available for cozy rides in cold temperatures.

Matrix-design LED headlights now come standard. Remote start is available via the Audi connect app. A new Adaptive Cruise Assist display is available via the optional Convenience package on Premium trim levels, and it comes standard across Premium Plus and above trim levels.

Safety

Audi Pre Sense uses collision-averting technologies to caution and protect occupants from accidents. All 2024 A6 vehicles use sensors to detect road hazards and activate appropriate safety measures.
