2024 Audi Q5.

Audi's 2024 Q5 blends a sedan's sports performance and SUV's versatile interior with a full suite of driver assistance systems.

The five-passenger utility vehicle also adds standard features for the new model year. These features include active lane assist, adaptive cruise control, a heated steering wheel with Hands-on Detection and remote engine start function via the myAudi app.

Audi’s 2024 Q5 comes in conventional and coupe-inspired Sportback body styles. The lineup offers three trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige.

An improved Black optic package is available for the Q5 45, Q5 55 and Q5 45 Sportback. The package includes black Audi rings and model badge, black exterior trim, high-gloss rear diffuser, black headliner, a perforated leather steering wheel with S badge, red brake calipers and black roof rails.

The Q5’s traditional Ibis White exterior paint has also been replaced with a gleaming Arkona White color.

Under the Hood

Audi’s base-level engine generates 201 hp and 236 Ib-ft of torque. It accelerates the vehicle from zero to 60 mph in 7 seconds.

The mild hybrid option produces 261 hp and 273 Ib-ft of torque, pushing the luxury SUV from zero to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds.

Q5’s plug-in hybrid uses a 2.0-liter engine paired with an electric motor and 17.9 kWh battery pack. The drivetrain generates a combined output of 362 hp and offers an all-electric range of 23 miles.

All models are matched with a quick-shifting seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and standard all-wheel drive for unwavering grip and control in diverse driving scenarios.

According to EPA estimates, the base Q5 delivers 23 mpg during city driving and 28 mpg on the highway. The 261-hp model sees a slight dip to 22/28 mpg city/highway.

The 2024 Q5 PHEV offers an EPA combined city/highway fuel economy of 61 MPGe in electric mode and 26 mpg when operating as a conventional hybrid vehicle.

Comfort and Convenience

In-cabin amenities include a 10.1-inch touchscreen, 10-speaker AM/FM stereo with HD Radio, heated power-adjustable front seats, Bluetooth, wired Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, two USB ports, a power liftgate and dual-zone automatic climate control.

Premium features accessible on higher trims are Audi’s Virtual Cockpit 12.3-inch driver digital display, a 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D audio system, Wi-Fi hotspot, surround-view camera system, a wireless phone charger, heated steering wheel and driver's seat memory.

All Q5 Prestige trims benefit from an optional Navigation package that includes a free six-month subscription plan to Audi Connect PLUS for high resolution 3D maps, real-time traffic updates, online Point-of-Interest searches and weather updates.

Safety

For the 2024 model year, the Audi Q5 added several standard new driver-assistance features:

• Adaptive Cruise Control with lane keep assist: Helps maintain a safe distance from car ahead and keeps the Q5 centered in its lane.
• Traffic Sign Recognition: Uses a camera to identify traffic signs and displays them on instrument cluster.
• Turn Signal Information: Turn signals inform the driver about surroundings, oncoming traffic and pedestrians.

These new features join a comprehensive suite of safety technologies already available on the 2024 Audi Q5.

Comprehensive safety features:

• Automated Emergency Braking: Automatically applies the brakes if it detects that the Q5 is at risk of hitting another vehicle or pedestrian.
• Blind Spot Monitoring: Warns the driver of the 2024 Q5 when it’s in a vehicle’s blind spot.
• Lane Departure Warning: Cautions a driver when the Q5 is drifting out of its lane.
• Forward Collision Warning: Uses sensors to monitor roads and detect stationary or slow-moving vehicles ahead.
